This page exists because the URL printed on millions of TV screens changed and the old one was not kept alive. Checked on 3 September 2026, hbomax.com/tvsignin returns HTTP 404, and so do max.com/tvsignin and www.max.com/tvsignin, which redirect into it. The working address is hbomax.com/signin, which redirects to auth.hbomax.com/link and returns HTTP 200. If a device is still showing you the old address, ignore it and type the new one by hand.

The service name changed twice. HBO Max became Max in 2023 and then went back to HBO Max in 2025, which is why guides, apps and TV screens disagree with each other. The current help site at help.hbomax.com uses HBO Max throughout.
