2 tools
Two audio tools that generate sound in the browser rather than play a recorded file. The white noise generator produces continuous noise for concentration or sleep, with the colour of the noise and the volume under your control, and it keeps running while the tab stays open. The metronome produces a steady click at a tempo you set in beats per minute, with a selectable time signature so the downbeat is accented. Both are built on the Web Audio API, which means the sound is synthesised on your device: nothing is streamed, nothing is downloaded, and there is no bandwidth cost to leaving either one running for an hour. Neither tool records anything, and neither asks for microphone permission.

White Noise Generator
Six browser-generated sounds — white, pink and brown noise plus rain, ocean and fan — with a volume slider and a 15-minute to 2-hour sleep timer.
Metronome
Click track from 20 to 300 BPM, set by slider, preset or tap tempo, with 2 to 8 beats a bar and an accent on the downbeat.
