About Open Graph Generator
The Open Graph Generator turns a page's title, description, image URL and canonical URL into a ready-to-paste block of og: meta tags plus a matching Twitter Card, previewed as Facebook and X would render the link. Switching the type to article, product or video adds the properties those objects require - article:author and article:published_time, product:price:amount and currency, og:video - and twitter:card can be set to summary, summary_large_image, player or app. It runs entirely in your browser; the generated tags are copied to the clipboard, never sent anywhere.
Use Cases
How to use
Pick the page type at the top: Website, Article/Blog, Product or Video. This sets og:type and a matching Twitter card.
Fill in og:title (95 characters max), og:description (200 max), og:url and og:image, then set the image width and height, 1200 by 630 by default.
Add og:site_name and choose og:locale, for example en_US, fr_FR or pt_BR.
Complete the extra panel for your type: article:author, published_time, section and tags; product price and currency; or the video file URL.
Leave Twitter Card included and set twitter:card to summary, summary_large_image, player or app, plus twitter:site and twitter:creator handles.
Compare the Facebook-style and Twitter/X previews, then click Copy and paste the meta tags into the head of your page.
Pro Tips
- Paste your content directly — the Open Graph Generator detects common input patterns and applies sensible defaults automatically.
- Use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl/Cmd+A to select all, Ctrl/Cmd+C to copy) to speed up your workflow inside the Open Graph Generator.
- For very large inputs, break them into chunks — most browser tabs can handle megabytes of text, but parsing huge payloads may freeze the UI briefly.
- The Open Graph Generator does not log or store your input. If you need history, copy important outputs to a local file or note app.
- Combine the Open Graph Generator with other tools on this site (formatters, converters, encoders) to build complete data pipelines without leaving your browser.
