About XML Sitemap Generator

Build a sitemap by adding URLs one at a time, each with its own last-modified date, change frequency and priority, or paste a list and apply shared settings to the whole batch. Output follows the sitemaps.org 0.9 urlset schema as XML, or switches to a linked HTML index or a plain-text file of one URL per line, with each optional field toggled off if you don't want it. Copy the result or download it as sitemap.xml. Generation happens in the browser.

Use Cases

Developers and QA engineers inspecting, validating, or transforming data using the Sitemap Generator.
DevOps practitioners debugging configuration files, tokens, or API responses on the fly.
Students learning web development, data formats, or encoding schemes with a hands-on Sitemap Generator.
Technical writers preparing code samples, configuration examples, or documentation assets.
Security researchers and bug bounty hunters who need a quick sandbox without CLI access.

How to use

1

Choose Manual Entry to add pages one at a time, or Bulk Import to paste a list of URLs, one per line.

2

In Bulk Import set the Change Frequency and Priority to apply to the whole batch, then click Import URLs.

3

For each URL row type the address and set Last Modified, Frequency (always through never) and Priority (1.0 down to 0.0). Use + Add URL to add more rows.

4

Under Options pick the XML, HTML or TXT format and tick which fields to include: last modified date, change frequency and priority.

5

Check the output panel on the right, which shows the file name and the number of URLs included.

6

Click Download to save sitemap.xml, sitemap.html or sitemap.txt, or Copy the markup, then upload the file to your site root and submit it in Search Console.

Pro Tips

  • Paste your content directly — the Sitemap Generator detects common input patterns and applies sensible defaults automatically.
  • Use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl/Cmd+A to select all, Ctrl/Cmd+C to copy) to speed up your workflow inside the Sitemap Generator.
  • For very large inputs, break them into chunks — most browser tabs can handle megabytes of text, but parsing huge payloads may freeze the UI briefly.
  • The Sitemap Generator does not log or store your input. If you need history, copy important outputs to a local file or note app.
  • Combine the Sitemap Generator with other tools on this site (formatters, converters, encoders) to build complete data pipelines without leaving your browser.
